Team Member Spotlight - Zac

We are taking you behind the scenes of edozo and introducing our team members, some might sound familiar to you and some others not, but they are all equally important and doing a phenomenal job. Let's get to know the heroes behind edozo.

Who are you ?

My name is Zac, I work as a Front-End developer for edozo. I spend most of my time developing new features for the edozo maps product as well as fixing up any bugs that get reported by people using the application. I work closely with other members of the edozo team to make sure we can provide the best possible application that addresses the needs of our clients.

What do you like most about edozo?

The drive of everyone in the business to keep improving and to keep developing the best product we can. Everyone is always more than happy to help each other out with any issue they are having.

How do you spend your weekends?

In more normal times I usually enjoy going out to see friends for some food or for a couple of drinks, or getting the chance to go back home to Nottingham and spending time with my family. There has been a lot more of going for walks and playing video games with my friends this past year though!

What’s your favourite way to unwind after a busy day?

Straight after work I normally like to sit down and have a cup of tea and watch a show where I can barely pay attention and just decompress a bit, and maybe lay some video games with my friends. Later in the evening I really enjoy watching films, especially films based upon a true story, I find them really interesting. Most recently I watched The Dig on Netflix. I thought it was good and something I hadn’t heard about before!

If you were the only human left on Earth, what would you do?

I would love to get the opportunity to travel and see some of the amazing sights of the world without any other tourists there. I imagine seeing Times Square with no people or Tokyo with no people would be a really surreal experience!

What’s the weirdest food you’ve ever eaten and where was that?

Me and my girlfriend went to a restaurant where it is completely pitch black and you can’t see any people or what you’re eating at all and don’t know what you’ve had until after you get out. One of the small little dishes they gave us to have was crocodile meat! I don’t think I would have chosen it normally but it was a lot like eating a small bit of steak.
